Ansamed produce a wide range of extruded tubing used in Central Venous Catheters (CVC), for long-term medical treatment for pain, infection, oncology, or nutrition supply. Because of the long term treatment (c 30 days), the surface quality of the extruded tubing must be excellent. A very smooth surface is required to minimise infection rates and trauma. Anti-microbial material options are also available to further minimise the potential for infection.

CVC tubing is produced in a range of geometries (single and multilumen) and materials (differing radiopaque properties and tubing stiffness).
